About SBARCThe Sierra Blanca Amateur Radio Club is an organization which actively promotes and supports amateur radio in Lincoln County, New Mexico. We are based in Ruidoso, NM, located in the south-central region of the state, yet we serve a geographic area about the size of the state of Connecticut! In addition to regular club meetings, our activities include:
SBARC enjoys Federal income tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are further classified as a 509(a)(2) Public Charity. Contributions to SBARC are deductible under section 170 of the Code. In addition, we have been qualified by the IRS to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. Whether you are new to the area, a frequent visitor, or long-time resident we invite you to join! Full membership is available to licensed hams for only $18 per year.
